Workshop “Strengthening the cooperation in the Adriatic macro-region against seismic emergencies to protect critical infrastructures and built environment”

To promote capacity building in hazard prevention and response system, Department ICEA organized 1 workshop on “Strengthening the cooperation in the Adriatic macro-region against seismic emergencies to protect critical infrastructures and built environment”.

Held on June 29 and 30, at Venice Lido and online, the event was an opportunity for junior and senior researchers to discuss with an international panel of experts the latest advances in the field of seismic risk assessment of existing transport infrastructures, also via the implementation of monitoring systems and on the community resilience against natural disasters with the testimonies of researchers involved in the post-earthquake reconnaissance activities for the recent Zagreb earthquakes occurred in Croatia.

FIRESPILL project partners also took advantage of this closing workshop to present a comprehensive overview of the project results.
