Practical exercise “Management activities and georeferencing of Technical triage”

In the post-earthquake phase, firefighters cannot carry out quick triage activities on their own. Logistical and technical support is essential. To take account of this need, on May 24 and 25 in Venzone, 20 people participated in the practical exercise “Management activities and georeferencing of Technical triage”, held at the same time as the simulation activity carried out by the firefighters from the Veneto Region.

The diverse profiles and broad capabilities of the people involved responded to the need to set up a Mobile Command Post with communication and IT infrastructure and to run data acquisition and archiving software, essential elements for quick triage activities.
